Upload to YouTube

Step 1 — Export your video from Insta360 Studio

  1. Open your clip in Insta360 Studio
  2. Choose your view mode — 360° (full spherical), Reframe (fixed angle), or Tiny Planet
  3. Set resolution to 4K or higher (YouTube supports up to 8K)
  4. Click Export, choose a folder, and wait for rendering to complete
💡 For dashcam-style drive videos, Reframe mode pointing forward gives the best result. For a more immersive feel, export in full 360° and enable YouTube's VR mode.

Step 2 — Upload to YouTube

  1. Go to studio.youtube.com and sign in
  2. Click + Create → Upload videos
  3. Drag your exported video file into the upload window
  4. While it uploads, fill in the Title (e.g. "Norfolk Run — A149 Coastal Drive"), Description and Tags
  5. Under Visibility, choose Public (so it can be linked here) or Unlisted if you prefer
  6. Click Publish — YouTube will process the video (HD/4K processing can take 10–30 minutes)

Step 3 — Add your video to your OurHorizonGrid dashboard

  1. Once published, copy the YouTube video URL from your browser
  2. Go to your OurHorizonGrid Dashboard
  3. Under Embed a YouTube video, paste the URL into the field
  4. Add a caption if you like and click Add video
  5. Your video now lives in your gallery and can be linked to a route
