Add a route

Upload your Insta360 GPX file

This gives you the most accurate route — every bend and turn your camera recorded, mapped precisely.

  1. Export your GPX file from Insta360 Studio (see the X4 / X5 GPS guides)
  2. Go to Routes → Plan a route
  3. Click the 📁 Upload GPX tab in the left panel
  4. Drag and drop your .gpx file onto the upload area, or click to browse
  5. Enter a name for your route (e.g. "A149 Norfolk Coastal")
  6. Add any notes about the drive — road conditions, best time of year, fuel stops etc.
  7. Click Upload & map route →
  8. You'll be taken straight to your new route page with the full GPS track displayed on the map
💡 OurHorizonGrid supports GPX files from Insta360, Garmin, Komoot, Strava, and any standard GPX export. If your file won't upload, try re-exporting from Insta360 Studio rather than the mobile app.
