Link a video to your route

Connect your YouTube video to the map

Once linked, viewers can click anywhere on the map to seek the video to that exact moment in the drive — the map and video stay in sync.

  1. Make sure you've added your YouTube video to your dashboard first (see Upload to YouTube)
  2. Go to your route page
  3. Scroll down to Creator tools — you'll see a Linked video section
  4. Select your video from the dropdown and click Link video
  5. The video will now appear alongside the map in a split view
  6. If your route was uploaded from an Insta360 GPX file (which includes timestamps), clicking on any point of the route will seek the video to that exact moment
💡 The click-to-seek feature only works when the route was uploaded from a GPX file with timestamps — Insta360 exports always include these. Routes drawn manually on the map don't have time data.

Add a cover photo

  1. On your route page, scroll to Creator tools
  2. Under Cover photo, click the upload area or drag an image onto it
  3. A good cover photo is a frame from the start of the drive, or the most scenic moment — it'll appear at the top of the route page and as the preview when you share the link
